Prom date won't text me back or try to talk out of school?

Sothis girl I asked to prom and I don't really talk out of school. I know she really wants to go with me since she keeps asking me about details and suc. But we don't really talk outside of school I try to text her but it doesn't really seem to lead anywhere. Also today I asked her to send me a picture of her dress saying I didn't get the one from before and she sent me it and I didn't have time to reply and she sent another saying "why aren't you getting my texts?" I replied to her but again nothing really. Not sure what to do does she want me to one open up more or what?

Try asking if you can call her.
