Why do guys ignore you one day & then talk to you the next?

Okay so this is kinda long but PLEASE help me:

So I have a really big crush on this guy who goes to my school & we have been flirting back & forth for a long time now. I have only known him since September but I have really strong feelings for him. I mean I think about him basically everyday, I really like this guy. & I have told him probably about 3 times the way I feel about him but it seems like one day he talks, hugs & flirts with me & the next day he sees me (looks directly at me) & then doesn't say anything at all to me, like I'm not even there. This is SO frustrating & I've told him how this makes me feel but it doesn't seem to be changing at all. We have mutual friends & they all tell me that he likes me but I just don't see it! We are both only 17yrs. Old & I'm really not asking a lot, I'm not trying to have a serious relationship or anything like that. The only time I can seem to get his attention is if I ignore him for a day or two. PLEASE GIVE Me SOME ADVICE ON WHAT I SHOULD DO!

Okay this isn't uncommon. As guys we know that girls love attention so sometimes we have to act a certain way so that you have to work for our attention. Think about it. If you before you knew this guy and before you started flirting and all that think about how it would be like if he just paid attention to you all the time and always wanted to talk to you and always wants to approach and flirt with you. This is unnatractive to girls because you would think its creepy. He knows by ignoring you every now and then it'll make you think about him and want to do things to get his attention and that's what he wants. If he acted to interested and acted to affectionate it would be unattractive. Affection and kindness are predominately female traits so its not unusual that he acts this way. What you have going in on is normal and you should still talk to him and act the same way you do. In time you'll see it works and plus it's going to make you attracted to him more and that's what he wants

Its very normal. What he's doing is building attraction. If he acted exactly the way you wanted him to act then you guys wouldn't have have as much attraction. Because honestly don't tell me that the way he's acting know doesn't make you want him more? I don't know this guy personally so he could have is own personal reasons of why he acts but from what you told me about the way he acts he is interested especially since you confirmed it with his friends. So next is just when he takes it 2 next level

He doesn't like you! By playing with your head and heart he only shows you:
1. He doesn't respect you and doesn't value you
2. He doesn't consider your feelings and how he hurts you ( cruel and insensitive)
3. He is not serious and unreliable.
It's up to you if you still believe he loves you...
