Is my classmate flirting with me? Or just being friendly?

Basically, I used to crush on her, asked her out and got rejected! This was two years ago, and back then she'd just completely keep away from me, I'm in Year 9 this year (not sure what grade that is) and she's asking for me to be with her in Biology Class and always waves at me and has a big smile around me, and she touches me a little bit (not sexually, i'm only 14 ffs) lol! Like shoulder touching and stuff! Also stands up for me when I get bullied and we share some secrets with each other! She's quite nice to be fair, and the best horserider in Britain for her age! Believe me she's good at it!

So now, please answer, is she just being friendly or is something going on! Cos I've never had anyone like me before or ask me out!

Oh yeah, she makes dirty jokes as well for me, and that's it really! She's always with her friends though

I think that after you confessed she became more conscious of you. Since she started avoiding you after that, it might mean she was quite shocked and embarrassed that she felt uncomfortable being around you. She has probably thought about it a lot and started to develop feelings for you. I think that she regrets pushing you away after you confessed as she may miss the relationship you've had before and now she is trying to have some kind of relationship with you. It is possible that she is just being friendly but in my opinion she has feelings for you. Next time to check her feelings try looking in her eyes for as long as you can while you are talking to each other and see if she is also trying to maintain eye contact for longer than 4-5 seconds. You can also try touching her (like give her a friendly punch on her arm for a few seconds; or if she is standing somewhere try coming right next to her so that your arms are aligned) and see if she is going to back away, if she doesn't then that is a good sign. Based on her reaction, you should have an idea of how she's feeling. Now don't make it too ridiculous or try and catch her by surprise. Make sure you two are making eye contact. Gradually move in while holding eye contact. Pay close attention to her--make sure she does not seem uncomfortable. If you notice discomfort in her, ABORT. OH, one last important thing to note about the kissing. Kiss her forehead and not her lips, but lean in as though you are aiming for her lips. If she really likes you, the moment will be exhilarating for her, and in that case kissing her forehead would be a tease-move. The forehead kiss is primarily just a precaution though, as it is a less intimate act than kissing the lips and in case she did not like you, she is less likely to resent you or be upset about it.
