What to think when a coworker calls you 'hun'?

I just started a new workplace two weeks ago and I met a coworker and have been asking him for help and when he couldn't help he said 'sorry hun' I have had maybe 3 shifts with him. Is there more to this? I was sort of taken aback because only my boyfriend calls me hun or honey baby etc.

I always call many people on here, dear, part of my Insignia along with "X's" and "O's"... Hun.
I also call Many "Sweetie," which is just Something I use when I Want them to Know I am Someone who is Polite and Kind when trying to Be Most Helpful.
Unless you have Seen other Sure Signs of the Times, he is just "Used" to calling Someone, any Girl... Hun.

Some people are just like that. I worked with an older woman who called everyone "baby" lol its just how she is. Some men are like that too. I think "hun" is innocent enough. Not like he came out and called you "sugar tits" or something. He might see it as being respectful. Depends on how a guy is raised.
