I feel like I'm over thinking this that's why I'm asking.
Is it true that if someone's pupils dilate when they see you they like you?
I feel like I'm over thinking this that's why I'm asking.
Lol. I don't think they dilate *that* much when they like someone. It's true that they dilate with that sort of stimulus, but not to such a large degree to where you can hardly see the color in their eyes. That's a sign of drug use more, in my opinion.
DXM does that, for sure. I've had it to the point where my eyes were almost entirely black. Mushrooms, sometimes cocaine can have some stuff in it that does that, even though it usually pinpoints the eyes. I've done some coke at one point that had my eyes almost entirely black: no blue to be found. Opiates pinpoint the eyes, so prolly not those.
Well. I suppose it makes the most sense if he had a cold and took some cough medication. DXM in cough medicine can cause that, big time. But he would have had to take extra. I don't think a normal dose causes that much dialation.
If he's a "bad" kid, then he might be using drugs. If not, then it's more likely he just took some cough medicine for a cold or something, and you just noticed it when you were close to him.
Oh, adderall can do that sometimes, too. If he's ADHD, then it's possible. But, adderall usually causes pinpoint eyes.
I would put my money on adderal or cough medicine. Sorry. He might still like you though.
You just can’t tell from a person’s eyes whether they like you or not. It could have been the lighting or they could have just been shocked by what you stated. There’s just too many other variables associated with the dilation of the pupils to accurately say they liked you and that it wasn’t something else that caused the eye change.
Personally, if you want to know one way or the other if the person likes you then you should just be bold and assertive and ask them straight up and personal if they do or not then you wouldn’t have to guess or make assumptions.
I’m always a huge believer in just being upfront with others and asking them what their intentions might be. Life is way too short to stand on the sidelines waiting for others to make the first move, or to just be guessing. Better to know for sure and just go from there. That’s my bottom line.
People's eyes change all the time for all sorts of reasons. There's no one set reason.

In acting actors often bring up that emotion forward and use it to act with. So he probably brought feeling love forward for the screen making his body react like he is in love. When he was not really in love.
When I was acting improve we practiced emotions at random. Some of us could cry when we wanted to then be pissed the next line.
Like when Im acting I get really mad to deliver my line. Am I actually mad at someone or something no. After my lines I take a few seconds to relax.
He brought up love so his body reacted. It could or could not have anything to do with him doing it with you. When I did a dating scene with the girl that I disliked in my class we acted it out but I did find myself nervous like I was actually on a date. It had nothing to do with who she was but the emotions I used made me feel like I was on a date.
If you think that he might like you and you like him try flirting with him outside of class.
Thats a myth but like any other myth there is some truth to it. Your pupils dilate due to fear, anxiety or nervousness. And when you're attracted to someone you sometimes can get nervous so it may be true but not always. This pupil is controlled by your autonomic nervous system which there are 2 main kinds of nervous in this nervous system... sympathetic nervous system and your parasympathetic nervous system. Parasympathetic is more active when you are relaxed these two nerves control almost everything in your body by the way even organs. And sympathetic is more active when you have fear, or anxiety, or nervousness when this happens your pupils dilate same things can happen when its dark that's cause of something else though it has to do when your cons and rods in your retina. And all these emotions nervousness, anxiety, and fear are release by the same chemical in your brain called cortisol.
Pupils dilate in response to either stimulation from the sympathetic nervous system (flight/fright) response or if it gets dark. I guess they would dilate in response to sexual arousal so it's definitely possible he or she was attracted to you... But must have been REALLY attracted to you to respond like that from a hug!!
Also he/she could have been afraid of you when you went in to hug them :)
Depending on the level of light in the environment, it may change the answer. After a hug from someone you're into (at least a little), the pupils dilate, but also if it's really low light the same thing happens
it is true dilating of pupils is one of the sign that person like u... but dilating of pupils can also occur when opposite person wants to do sex with u that time it also dilates... so can't tell properly
"I meant to post this anon... please ignore the fact you can see my profile." Bwahahaha I died right there 😂😂😂
Why are you saying "they"?
Do you like them back?
Hmm, well it sounds like to me they might have certainly gotten some sort of buzz from having that kind of physical (and by the sounds of things, unexpected) contact with you, so yeah, there's a chance they might have something for you.
You can't tell just based on that.
i thought it had to do with light
I think you could still go anon
Can't you?
No, they could just be on acid
