How long do you wait before assuming you've been ghosted?

Situation: you meet someone, exchange numbers, and start texting back and forth. Then they all of a sudden stop responding. How long would you wait before assuming they've ghosted you and move on.

I assume, unless they let me know that they're often busy, that after a few days to a week, it's over. If it is don't ever come back though because I don't forgive that shit.

I use the number 3. I initiate contact with them and wait for them to do it back. If they don't, then after the third consecutive time when I had to start the conversation, I will no longer do it at all and just leave it at that.

I don't think there is a written rule or a time lapse to determine whether somebody ghosted you or not, sometimes if a person ignores you and they don't give you a reason why. it's because they ignore you and they moved on already... time won't give you answers in this case :)
if somebody wants your presence or if somebody wants to HEAR from you, you will feel it ;) and you will see it, without waiting...
Nobody deserves to wait and to see what happens...
