Guys, if I stop giving my crush so much attention would that make him step it up if he really likes me?

I've been looking at this cute guy for a while and he always looks back at me and we lock eyes, this eye contact is much longer that just normal eye contact. i also catch him looking at me a lot so i know he's not just looking at me when i look at him.
But he never makes a move or anything, so i have no idea if he actually likes me... so i figured if i stop giving him so much attention he should react in some way to it if he really likes me right?

He most likely is interested but is shy or nervous so he doesn't do anything about it. Also don't play games as a lot of guys will think that the girl doesn't like them and eventually lose interest. You should try talking to him in some way. It could be something as simple as asking for help on an assignment so you can get his attention and he may be more open and start talking to you.

Don't give him less attention, I would have taken it as a negativ sign and take less initiatives. I think you should talk to him :) Just add him on some socialmedia if you are too shy to talk with him in person.

If it was me I wouldn't react or do anything. I would think you would have lost all interest in me. If you really want to have something with him you should make a move. Dont wait for him to do something.
