Should I follow my crush on Twitter?

He's my older brother's friend. They're not super close but they do like each other and occasionally hang out, so I've met him a handful of times and I just really want to get to know him better.

I found him on Twitter on the "suggested to follow" thing, so I just wonder if I should follow him? Like, what would I do if he doesn't follow back or he thinks I'm weird?

Well, the thing is that I wouldn't necessarily cal us "friends" at all. Like I said I've only spoken to him a handful of times, and I guess I'm just afraid he won't follow me back, you know? Like, that would be so awkward if he doesn't and then I see him again
