Why does this guy keep looking at me?

So I attend gym and there's this guy there who I noticed keeps looking at me. Recently I can't stop thinking of him,he gives me butterflies every time I know he's there... I even dream of him. SO yes I like him and wish he would come up and talk to me. THis has been happeneing from last year..everytime he sees me at gym he will look at me and even from across the weights area I will see him looking at me. He even strains his eyes to look at me lol,if there's someone standing on my way ,he will look past them just so he can see me and he makes sure I catch him looking so I can return his gaze. I am so shy to even go up and talk to him and one time I walked passed him and tried to say hi,but I had this excitement running through my whole body that I just couldn't say anything. He makes me feel as if I'm the only girl in the gym. Recently he would look at me and smile and I will smile back at him. Then the other day when he was leaving gym he looked at me,smiled and waved...i wanted to wave back I really did but all I could do was smile because he made me so happy when he waved,hes never waved to me before. He has never approached me or spoken to me...all he does is look at me and smile...what do you guys think is this guys intentions,does he like me or not? or is he just being polite and I'm looking into it too much? By the way he doesn't look at other girls and smile or wave at them,his eyes are like glued on me although I look rather sloppy at gym..

first off, I think you are right to believe he likes you.

i personally think you should talk to him, just break the ice. Find out his name, find out if you have something in common that you can use to your advantage for spending time with him.

What have you got to loose?

He wouldn't be looking at you if he didn't find you attractive. so give it a shot, just work up the courage to say hi and work from there.

Do you smile at him? If you don't then he's probably going to think you're married or taken. You need to smile at a guy in a manner that lets him know you want to be approached. I've being in countless situations such as yours, back in my pretty boy days, of which I'd approach the girl and she would say she had a mate. Thus I wait on that smile.

I do smile back at him and I give him the shy girly smile...i actually show him that I'm interested I look back at him ,smile at him and blush whenever he's there...
