Haha going on 20 years? I always had a thing for her, but she never really liked me back. Which that's whatever I was a dork in high school anyway. Haha doesn't mean I don't think she's cute, but its not as extreme as it was in high school.

2 years and nothing became of it. He found I was into him junior year and I found out he wanted to talk to me but was too shy.
Senior year he was liking someone else who wasn’t into him and then on top of that he didn’t want a girlfriend anyways. So I‘ve been over it, done, and moved on. On the bright side when he found out I wanted to go to prom with him, he actually considered it but he ended up not going period.

A crush starts, very simply, as lust. Pure lust. IF you get a chance to know the person, and you interact with them for more than 4 months, it doesn't mean you "love them". There are a whole lot of possible scenarios at that point, but "love" is the most unlikely.

Love, no... infatuated with, yes. To crush on someone is different than knowing someone. And I feel there are several stages to get to being in love for someone, and knowing them is one of those. And remember that being in love and having love for someone is two separate things
