I'm sure some real feelings inspired these lyrics. I know guys have felt like this! You hardly ever hear about it though. I never finish hearing about how a guy has done a girl wrong, broken her heart, put her through so much, but I never hear guys saying that about girls, yet I know it happens. It's hard for me to imagine a girl putting a guy through some of the grimy things guys put girls through. I'm curious about what things guys have been put through because of girls who, for whatever reason, didn't love or respect them enough to treat them right. So please share! Most detailed, informative answer gets chosen as best!

Here goes my story..

9 months ago I met this girl (We'll call her A). I was instantly attracted to her at first sight. Tall blond and blue eyes (my weaknesses). Over the next couple of weekends we just happened to be ending up at the same places and we started talking and just chatting about anything and everything. Well I was going to ask her out but I found out she had a boyfriend so I backed off.

Flash forward 1 month later. She breaks up with her boyfriend and immediately starts texting me. Like when I say immediately I mean literally within 15 minutes of changing her relationship status on FB lol. Well we talk and hang out and go to a couple movies over the next couple months. She is always telling me things like how great I am, how I take her breathe away, how I make her feel so special and protected. BS! Every time I hang out with this girl I liked her more and more and by the time thanks giving break came I'm not ashamed to say that I was in love. That's when everything changed. She stopped responding to my text/calls. Then one day after like 3-4 days of zero contact she texts me and says sorry but she has gotten back with her boyfriend (the same guy who cheated on her with 2 different girls).

I was heartbroken for the longest time. For weeks I didn't really want to do anything. No friends, no family, nothing. Then we started our spring semester and first day of class I see her sitting in the building where my class is. At first I was going to say hey but I couldn't make myself do it so I just turned my head and walked by without saying anything. This is how it was for nearly 5 months.

Then one day I walked into my living room and she was sitting in there talking to my roommate and his girlfriend (her bst friend) and they asked if they could use my computer. I told them yeah they could and when I got home that night "A" had changed her relationship status to single. A week later for the first time in 5 months I ran into her on school and we actually spoke. It was super awkward though. Over the course of the next month we talked more and more and eventually were back to where we were b4 thankgiving and eventually surpassed that. We would kiss, cuddle, hold hands, pretty much everything except sex because she had been messed over by her ex again and wanted to wait for sex. She asked me never to leave her and told me that she thought she was falling for me over again. And I told her I shared those feelings.

Then one day last week everything changed. She stopped texting me back. I saw her at school and she talked to my friends and ignore me. Then again that same night at a bar. So I left her alone for a whole week until today she is gonna start some drama over something I put on twitter. Long story short it's over again (like I didn't already know that). When I asked her what happened she just told me that all I needed to know was that it was truly all her fault and she was sorry.

I'm devastated once again and my heart feels like its going to explode.

There was this girl that I fell head over heels once about a year ago. Before I start I have an issue of getting attached too fast unfortunately, which is what happened with this girl. It was a time of changing, a very vulnerable time where I needed change, I haven't had luck dating, I had missed some great opportunities before that to date I highly regret and I carry them like heavy stones in my back.

Well I remember that I saw this really gorgeous girl in one of the 1st year classes that I was taking, I am actually a 3rd year in university but I was planning to change programs. Anyways she only looked once at me, but that was it, and when she was around she wouldn't even look at me, or say anything to me even when I would open the door to her, I don't know why at the time I didn't think I was going to get in trouble, she had a very somber look, of somebody with either a lot of issues or just pure evil.

I decided to approach her anyways as I was really motivated, but I just did it like a patriot going to war without his rifle, I had a lot of motivation but I almost had no idea what I was doing. So I sat beside her and she liked it as she smiled at me, I asked her for a favor and she did help me, we chatted, she seemed to like me and I was obviously digging her a lot as well. It kept going like that for about two weeks.

Until one day she completely changed, I said hi to her and she completely ignored me, I tried to talk to her but she didn't seem to want to talk to me, she kept ignoring me and at one point she just gave me the cold shoulder and just ignored me. Then at one point some guy and she just threw herself at him and hugged him tightly in front of him, she might as well just kiss him in the mouth right away, even the guy was just shocked of what she did. I am not sure what she wanted to do that time and I will never know anyways, as I never got her cellphone, face book or even last name for that matter.

As silly as this sounds, it is true! I was so heartbroken that I lost it completely that time, I was sweating of how mad I was at that moment I remember. And I really wanted to scare her or p*ss her off out of vengeance, turns out I did, which was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made.

Turns out the girl was sort of interested in me or at least appreciated me as an acquittance, but I got so mad that I just wanted to destroy her (not literally, but emotionally). As I mentioned I did scare her and p*ss her off, by the time I realized what I have done, it was too late, she wouldn't even want to talk to me and it really breaks my heart because I really liked her, even if we just talked for a couple of weeks.

I tried many times to talk to her in class and when I would run up to her but she wouldn't even want to talk to me, or give me a chance to say how sorry I was for what I did. I even had a year because we met in the beginning of the school year, but I never took advantage of the situation and I never talked to her...

I met a girl online who was screaming for attention. She poured out her whole heart to me. I felt I really knew her, and I was very attached emotionally. We did stuff on webcam, (which I now regret), and now, she says I was only a guy to get horny with. I've met her in person twice, yet she doesn't want to talk on the phone or see me in person anymore. First she said it was because she felt embarrassed about what we did (we are both Christians who struggle with sexual sin). Now, a few years later, she says, "I don't see you as more than a friend. I don't want/need to meet in person." She's said she's sorry for her part, but it's taken a long time to get over it. I have to keep distance and chat with her less often so the feelings don't come back.

Many years ago, I got my heart broken by my first love. I loved and, it's hard to admit but I still have some feelings for her I suspect will never go away.

She was this gorgeous black haired Russian girl, she wasn't like other girls, she was a bookworm, enjoyed movies and I introduced her to video games, hated promiscuity and guys that were just creeps, the type of guy, most girls I knew, would probably go for their bullshit. And for this I loved her even more, she was amazing.

We men on the net, after a year of chatting online, I proposed we meet and so we did, we lived very far (about 200 km apart) from each other, but even so, we liked each other so much we made it work, I would visit here every other weekend, eventually staying at her parents home with her and we had such good times, we stayed up late talking all night, going for walks around town and restaurants, watching movies at home and sometimes playing games.

These were the best days of my life and I've never felt so happy since. After a year or so of the most amazing thing I've ever felt, she started growing distant... each day got worse and worse, she just shut herself, she started going out to clubs and doing things she never really enjoyed, or said she enjoyed and eventually she broke up with me.

I went into the worst depression I've ever had, barely could get out of bed or eat... I dropped out for the rest of the school year, starting over the next year, I couldn't bare the pain and concentrate on studies at the same time.

Unfortunately for me, I've never gotten over it, I haven't met a woman I felt as deeply in love as I did with her, everyone says I should be happy on my own before I can be happy with someone, but I think that's just BS. I was happy once and, I can only see myself being happy if I ever meet a woman that can make me feel as happy as she did and that truly loves me.

And that's my story, very, VERY resumed.

Guys who talk about their feelings and splurge at a chance still need to sort things out and that messes with a guy. Remember that when you think about these stories - "tough guys"/strong guys tend to be awfully sentimental, they keep stories like this close to their chest, and armor gleaming.

That armor is who we try, want to, and think we are.

Successful, secure, solid guys don't talk about this so openly because we control how people see us - we want them to know and see the person we try to be, and want to be every day. If people see us differently, it's like for girls - having some dark gossip about you every where you go.

But sometimes a guy might be comfortable enough in his own skin to be seen the way they want to be, without armor.

Even a pirate might have a heart, somewhere.

If you want to hear from a strong, warm guy their heartbreak story, you make them feel trusted, a touch cared for and then ask them "have you ever been in love?"

I remember every girl who ever reached me with a part of them that's real; I remember them, not "about them."

I remember them all, because every girl is her own, and its matters, its special, when part of her, past the mystery, is shared because she wants to, loves to.

You can find and live true love in a single night, and live with the loss always - each one is special, always like a first love.

because I was so ashamed or scared of getting the same cold treatment again and since I never got her phone number of Facebook, I was never able to arrange a meeting with her, the only way that I could talk to her is by chance and I rarely got the chance anyways.

I know I never had a relationship with her, but this whole situation and the first time that I met her and how great she was a person really struck me, specially when she would treat me like that when I had good intentions of fixing things up. That was the last time I got my heart broken.

To many people this may seem silly, but to me it was really meaningful and it really hurt me, even today a year and a half later I am still suffering from the effects of the whole situation; it affected school and my dating life as well, I haven't had a girlfriend or any form of intimate relationship with a girl ever since.

I was married for just over 5 years when I found out that my wife was posting online dating ads so she could meet and have sex with other guys.

believe it or not men take break ups just as hard or harder then most woman do.

I won't go into details But my Fiancee Aborted my child and turned it around and made me feel like it was my fault. She ditched me and used it to hold me down while she was out with some new guy. It tore me apart that I just stay away from Sex and relationships all together. its been about 3 years since anyone has touched me. I don't even remember what it feels like to be in love.
