Should I add a girl I like on snapchat from quick add?

Hi everyone. So me and this girl and another guy went to extra maths classes together last year and i started to kinda like her. I met her a few times on nights out and we talked for like a few mins each time I met her. Anyways she came up in my snapchat quick add and I was wondering if it would be weird if I added her on snapchat? And if I do add her how long should I wait to text her? And what do I say?

So here's an update. I added her but she didn't add me back. I'm still proud of myself that I had the courage to add her. I'm thinking i might send her a text on snapchat later.

good job. yes just keep trying to talk to her and if she gives you and trouble about it just say, "i just think your nice and wanted to be friends." that will turn her towards you and then it can grow from there.
