I think that learning any foreign language is an amazing thing to do... but just to impress a crush? No! Do it b/c it improves your primary language skills, do it b/c learning a foreign language improves you math skills, or do it b/c it increases your chances of getting a job in the future, but just to impress a crush? If he is really worth your affection, he really should not care if you speak Spanish or not! But... there are SO many other benefits to being Bi-lingual, you should just do it anyway, just do it for you!
Nah one more thing on your belt. Educating yourself is great. If it doesn’t work out with your crush then your just smarter than you were when you did have a thing for them. Leaves room for the next guy

Yeah it is bad, it shows how u are ready to be a bitch for him. Have a pride, u don't need to impress anyone.. just try to be attractive, take care of yourself and give him a sign with glaring at him, u don't need to do something extra. He is the man and he is the person who should have that hunter mentality, if he's lack of it then have crush on someone else.
Honestly I think it’s cute you’re wanting to learn the language to impress him. Whilst it shouldn’t be your only motivation (learning a language in general is an amazing skill to have which can really be handy in the future), I think he would appreciate you taking the time and effort to learn it in order to communicate with him better.
