Should I stop hitting on older women?

I like older women, have been since my school days.

I've been Rejected many times, as recent as yesterday.
Was talking to this woman at work & decided to take a chance.

She turned me down for looking too young, She said she was too old for me.
She said I looked 18, I’m turning 21 next Month. Then she eventually pulled the Married card.

I know she wasn’t, I’ve unknowingly hit on married women & That’s the first thing they’ll say.

Should I give up?

How much older exactly? Because it might just be uncomfortable for them to have someone so much younger hitting on them. Like when you're 30, someone who's 21 seems like a teenager. I'm almost 23 and I wouldn't want an 18 or 19 year old to hit on me.

I hit on older women and dated 2 of them a few years ago now
I look closer to 30 so look older

Maybe it's the beard or the bling possibly the desire for quality or the stress of my workload

No, man. Don’t give up. If there is an older woman in particular you care for, then go to her and tell her how you feel. The older woman I dated, we’ve been married for eleven years. Advice though, don’t try dating a co-worker.
