Would a shy girl avoid eye contact with her crush?

I'm pretty sure that this girl likes me, but she avoids eye contact with me. So this is throwing me off a bit, and I have not made an effort to talk to her because of this. thoughts

Yeah, she's shy, so she doesn't want to make eye contact. (at least for me, when I was shy) I didn't want the person I liked knowing I was looking at him, incase he didn't like me back, or something...does that make any sense at all? sorry if it doesnt:)

yes, I did that all the time when I like this guys a couple years back...and when he would look at me I would look down, but after that happened a couple of times I started to not look away (I wasn't extremely shy).

ive looked at her when she's not looking, and she's looked at me when I wasn't looking. yet to make eye contact..

i think she assumes that I'm going to come up and talk to her. maybe she doesn't know how shy I am, maybe she doesn't realize that some attractive guys are shy =/

oh your shy too...well just stare at her until she has to look at you, it might come off a little creepy, but you'll most likely get to make eye contact:)

although.. it would be funny, if I just sat there, eyes on her. like what if it took 5 minutes for her to finally stare, oh she would probably look away real quick aha :P

the guy I liked (im pretty sure he liked me back) he did that to me one time, it was awkward and so funny at the same time, but he was more of the outgoing, funny type.

yeah, just be prepared for possibly no answer. if she's shy she won't know what to say, so she might just say I don't know, but at least she'll know you noticed that she wouldn't keep eye contact.

I'm sure she must have looked at you at least once when you were looking! What did you do then? Did you smile? If you looked unfriendly and she liked you, she might have gotten intimidated and now tries to avoid looking when you're looking!

Hahaha it's a good chance she does. because when I'm trying to check someone out and they look at me of course were gonna wanna look away to avoid making things awkward.

lemme ask you a different question... how long will it be until she gets tired of waiting for me to talk to her, and she gets over it?

haha depends on how long this has been going on, and how much she likes you. For me, if the guy hasn't approached me in 2 or 3 weeks then I'd probably think he wasn't interested.
