If this would be more common, I am very sure it will be a huge turn on, but I guess it depends from man to man. To me this is like having someone tell me "Nice shirt". I will not think that that is just a compliment, I will immediately think there is something wrong with my shirt and I would spend the next 10 minutes to 3 hours concerned that maybe I have a ripped shirt, or that I buttoned it wrongly, or that I spilled something on it...
Here in lies the contemporary paradox of the #me too movement... for males its like playing 'Russian Roulette'... misread the subtleties of a naive girl's flirtation and you're labelled a 'creeper' and meanwhile, self-deprecating in her insecurity many a woman is reading "Oh, he doesn't find me attractive"...
To hell, with political correctness... this goes back to that old Burlesque Benny Hill comedian's joke about the randy young guy standing on the street corner who approaches every woman he finds attractive and whispers "Wanna fuck?" Nine times out of ten, he gets either ignored or slapped but OH that TENTH TIME!

You are so right. All this garbage men say about they want women to approach them is crap. The woman who makes the first move the guy never goes for her.
well i suppose there are always people only want what they can't have. but no not really. also big caveat we would like it if women we find attractive make the first move. also from experience im kind of left flat footed when it occasionally happens. usually because they come out of nowhere. example: going for a walk bunch of girls in a truck catcall me and then drive away before i can say anything. lady at a bar sneaks up on me and puts her hand on my leg. i smile but i am totally embarrassed and dont know what to say. and it doesn't go anywhere. it can be shocking and throw us off our game. but that doesn't mean we dont like it usually.
You know i have talked with some of the girls and they said that If a girl will like you she definitely will let you know. So a guy will not be wondering if she likes you or not? But why a girl can't give clear signals if they likes you ? And if above statement said by the girls are correct then why to even ask here that did she liked me or not? It's clear that she doesn't like you. Am i right?
Yes that can happen with guys also that like What we think off a clear signals... that we are giving to a girl... she doesn't get that. And most of the time it happens with shy , ugly looking guys like me 😅😅 . Yes it is coz of lack of communication
Men want to be wanted/desired as much as women. I don't mind forward women, since it can be difficult to decode hints and social cues.. not to mention the risk involved if you get it wrong. In my mind, there's nothing more attractive than a woman who isn't afraid to go after what she wants when she wants it. Also, it can get really old always being the one who has to initiate connection or intimacy.. so being assertive can definitely add some spice if things are getting too routine. But just to be clear, there's definitely a difference between being assertive and being pushy. Pushy isn't an attractive quality in either sex.
So, I would say anything that doesn't take the other person's wants/needs/situation into account or attempts to deprive them of their agency is "Pushy"
Assertive is confidently walking up to someone in a bar and asking them out. Pushy is not taking no for an answer, or becoming aggressive about it.
@coulis another thing is being aware of who else is in the room. My bosses daughter once hit on me super hard in front of her daddy and I was terrified. Though that's probably why she did it... Feels bad.
I would definitely like it. I would find it flattering. Years ago I moved to California from the midwest, and I would go to a club and was enjoying the music and women were asking me to dance. At first I didn't know what to make of it, but always said yes. It was great. I would look around to try to figure out what was going on, and the only thing I could think of was that the local guys were just sitting there very stoic all primped and polished, me I looked like I was enjoying myself. Other than that I was clueless, but it was sure nice being asked.
It's a big turn off when she is drunk. I mean if she happened to be drunk and couldn't sober up that very minute but approaches nicely with some manners then it is fine too. Just drunk over the top ways is not for me.
Otherwise, it is nice and obviously i will think about her after too. So it is a nice way to get your foot in the door with guys. A friendly hi, i'm so and so and move on or just a nod or a wave will usually leave you in a guys mind for a while
A woman giving strong hints that she likes a guy is actually quite attractive when done correctly, it's not really her making the first move, it's more that she is encouraging him to make a move by giving him the green light.
I can understand girls in their teens or 20's being reluctant to do this, as they risk getting used for sex. But as guys get older, most of us are looking for a long partnership.
It's a hella turn on, especially if you like her back. In this age of egalitarianism and flipped or completely destroyed gender roles. Females should be obvious or something.
Well if you are referring to getting turned on sexually then that can never happen because I am asexual. However, yes if a woman genuinely shows interest and fondness for me then I would appreciate that and will treat her with respect.
However, I won't allow that to proceed to the next step because my objective is to remain single for life.
Well knowing that she is romantically interested in me is a turn on. But if she makes it clear she needs me naked in her bed right now it would be a serious turn on.
One time a girl acted like we know each other for a long time.. We just sit together in an exam... Other time a girl was visibly mad when i acted like a gentleman with another girl holding something for her.. She was a stranger too... Lol just dumb things

Every woman has been different towards me of when or how she let me know she wanted me. It's a surprise of course when she made the 1st move. When she's constantly asking me questions and staying persistent getting to know me then it's obvious. When she finally says in her own way she likes me I already knew at that point.
I love it. But I'm wary of them. Usually the people who do this to me are married. Another big one is women trying to trick you into giving them money somehow. A single attractive woman who genuinely is interested? That would be the best.

Depends on how often "persistent" really turns out to be. Yes, it's great to experience being wanted, as long as she is NOT a "clinging vine" type who is like a homesick puppy and glues themselves to your leg!
Turn on? That would be amazing! I have been working super hard the last couple years and my ex-gf dumped me about 5 months ago, so I haven't been out and about. It would be such a privilege and an honor to be asked out for once.
I have had those experiences in past and they were lot of fun. Takes out lots of guess work. Like train is getting a green signal while on the move at full speed.

No different from "chasing" or "begging", but it's nice. Girls who think they're making a distinction from "chasing" aren't as respectable though, so that's going to hurt things a bit.
