Girls, What have you done before when you really liked a Guy who was too afraid to Approach you and you wanted him to?

I don't really pay attention enough to know if someone is "afraid" to approach me.
.. But anyone who I'm interested in, I'll approach them myself.
If I'm not interested and they're too "afraid" then I don't do anything nor care.

Confident guys freak the hell out of me. I have anxiety and confident guys are just very very hard to approach for me, personally. I have low-self esteem too. Working on it though. It’s because of past trauma from bullying.

I can't say that he was too afraid to approach really, but I due to the situation at the time, I was the one to ask him out first to lunch.

Sorry, You sound fairly Confident because of the fact you approached him, Do you reckon most Confident Girls would approach a Shy Guy if they really liked him and wanted to date him?

I consider myself confident. So is my SO though. It wasn't because he wouldn't have asked me out. It was because of how we met. I am an office administrator at a medical practice. So, when we met, I was at work.

Because he most likely thought it would be rude to ask me out while I was working, I decided to make the move myself as he was being discharged. If I hadn't, I may have never seen him again.

He is Australian and works in my country about 11 months of the year as a pharma consultant. Unlikely our paths would have ever crossed again unless he had by chance had another sports injury and landed himself back in our care.

So, that said, I wasn't going to waste an opportunity. Good thing I didn't I asked him to lunch. We hit it off. We are now engaged.

compliment him with something he's wearing

i have done that before.. but mostly the guys I really liked did not show me interest and so I just let it go.
