Was my crush actually showing jealousy over me?

I was at work one day and just checking people out like I normally do because I’m a cashier. I’m 20 and I get frequently that I’m pretty. Often from teenage girls. That one day my crush happened to be at the register next to me and we always give each other a hard time jokingly. There were a group of girls who I was checking out at the register and they started snickering and I ignored them. Then I heard them go “you’re so pretty” and I looked up and they were looking at me so I said thank you and said they were too. My crush never looked up from the register as then went on but afterwards she was like “that was nice Jordan”.
I told her that it happens to me a lot and I called the girls pretty back because they were pretty and she told me to just take the compliment. Lol could she have been a little jealous. She’s told me she cares about me and stuff and has tried to keep me from talking to another guy.

Sounds like she was just making a general comment. Like if you hear someone compliment a coworker and say “oh that was nice”, it’s very general. But then when you added the bit about often being called pretty, she told you to just take her compliment Bc that did seem like you were boasting, which isn’t very cute and she humbled you. Not telling you this in a rude way.
