I share an office with a guy and I am trying to figure out if he is friendly or flirty?

This guy is really friendly but he tries so hard to make jokes around me 90% of the time and always makes strong eye contact with me. He also pays great attention to thinks I do around the office, and keeps quoting things I’ve said previously.

Most of our talks are office related and nothing personal. He always waits for me to grab coffee and we take turns in paying. He comments if I for example drink something that is not the usual, like the other today got surprised that I was drinking coke and I said that I like it , then he proceeded to ask “since when, I have never seen you drink it”

He probably likes you and this is subtle flirting in the early stages. A guy doesn't usually take notice of things girls do that they do not like. They tend to ignore women they have no interest in. He's watching you so he's interested to some degree.

Little too noticing and commenting and perceivably controlling for my taste. Take that 💩 outside of office space as that sort of interaction in Standards company gets you fired. Date and find out…why not ⁉️

I am not sure about my feelings but all I know is that I am comfortable around him given we are both single. Is that a reason why I am questioning his behaviours, it could be or maybe I am reading too much into our interactions.
