I've been talking a lot with my crush a lot lately on the phone. Flirting. Recently I've noticed him peppering the conversation with remarks like "Oh now I can imagine what a first date with you would be like!" / "Is this what you would be like to live with?" / "Hah, this is like a preview of you in an argument!"
Usually said in response to me giving him sass, for context. What I want to know is - is this some weird way of him gauging my interest? Getting me to think about him in that way? Should I try doing it back?
I'm getting fairly impatient anyway, and want to ask him out. But maybe this could be a good lead into that conversation, right?
