Would it be strange/creepy/desperate to ask about someone in a place you saw them?

This is a continuation of this question...

To make it short — a really cute cop stared at me and I stared back at him and it really felt like something sparked lol as silly as it sounds.

Would it be strange to ask about the guy at the gas station? Just if they remember him and if he and/or other cops visit regularly?

Is it a desperate move? or a creepy behavior to you guys?

And if I ever get lucky again and see/meet him again, what should I do?

I have people that have done that at a few of the stations I worked at when looking for someone that they had met while there. How else would ya be able to find a place to start?

Also if you know what department he is a part of (not sure if there are multiple in the area you are at) and inquire there, however realize stalking a cop could be an interesting start to a relationship. :D

I don't think it's creepy. Most guys would love that woman tracks them down and wants to know more about them. If you get his number, ask him if he could tell you if you'd get a ticket for buying him coffee.
