Would you creeped out if a stranger approached you and knew where you work/go to college?

Today a police officer followed me slowly in his car and waved at me. At one point he left his car and walked up to me. He tried to strike up a conversation and asked if I studied at my university because he saw me there. I was bewildered because I’ve never seen this person in my life, I study at a university with about 30.000 students, I‘m not too frequently on campus and I don’t have a memorable face. He kept smiling the entire time and also mentioned that I looked sad.

Later that day on my way home a stranger called me princess. Usually people dislike me on first glance and make a wide berth around me. What does this all mean?

Yes I would be weirded out especially since I've had bad experiences with cops before. I would say hi (not to appear suspicious) but then quickly tell him I need to get to class ASAP or some other excuse if it happens again.

What kind of bad experiences with cops did you have?

I've witnessed police brutality.

Bruhhh don’t feel guilty , he’s a creep , ask him what he wants boldly and confidently because he’s taking up your time for telling unimportant issues. Be bold
