Question

Let’s say your schedule is packed and the only time you are free to talk is after work. would you feel weird if someone showed up to talk to you where you work after hours? Would you be uncomfortable going to see someone where they work after hours?

Meeting at a mid point can he prefers bid but requires or just rating. Meeting after work makes it very low pressure in my opinion tho may feel funny if your coworkers dk the person or theirs to you bc people make issues out of nothing 🤷🏻‍♀️

I wouldn't mind it either way, but I guess is because of my particular job that I don't mind it...

it would not be dangerous or odd, nothing controversial either besides, I could have the flexibility to find the time to meet during work hours, or after... even before working hours, lol

I think it's fine as long as it isn't a surprise. If it was pre-arranged then it's cool.
... However, it would have to be someone I know. Not a stranger. Also, they have to keep it brief. Hi and bye; that's it. We don't need to be jeopardizing anyone's career.

I’d arrange to meet at a public place after work, someplace close enough that I could get there easily and still have time to get home after.

I used to go see my friend when he worked at a restaurant.
And I brought him to an after-work basketball session with me once, he met my coworkers.

It didn't really feel like anything everyone was pretty chill with one another

I dated a girl who was a bartender. She worked nights so I used to go to the restaurant where she worked and sit at the bar and we could talk when she wasn"t busy. She got off at 11PM and we used to go out for drinks afterwards. This was not a good arrangement for somebody with a lot of 8AM classes.

Depends on the role, I'd be more inclined to visit them if they worked in a customer facing role like a bar and the workplace is open to the public then I could be tempted. An office or warehouse would be weird unless they were friends with multiple people.

It can be uncomfortable but if you do it enough or know a few people there its fine, as long as its after hours. I have met people during the work day who come to pick stuff up and such, its all fine, just part of life

I work in a secured area. It's moderate to high risk at times. I can't receive visitors at work unless I go out to the parking lot on break or during lunch.

I'm not a fan of the whole visit eachother at work thing. I also work in a factory so its not even possible for people to visit. And I certainly don't like the idea of visiting someone while they're working

Chances are they wouldn’t find me. as for me I’m not gonna show up at someone’s work place like that unless we had plans or I texted em to see if they wanted to grab lunch or something.
