I mean seriously that has nothing to do with me, and everything to do with you and him. I really am not looking to know that.

They're jumping back in too soon and they haven't worked through it all yet. Maybe she doesn't have enough people to talk to about it so she hasn't been able to get it all out of her system yet and she still needs to vent before she can start moving on. I think I'd address it before going anywhere else with her and she'll probably be able to realize that she's not ready yet.
Yeah, I think you nailed it. That was my conclusion. Honestly, though I blew it, when I let slip "sounds like your not ready to be dating again."
I didn't really blow it, it just wasn't what it was meant to be. 90% online is these types of people. I only go back to it once every few months to remind myself of why I don't do online anymore. It took less than, 4 hours back on line to learn that the merry go rounds is still going around! 😂
The only thing I can add that's slightly different to everyone else's opinion is maybe that person is desperately trying to figure out if you and the ex are similar people. By telling you this story she can gauge your empathic ability and wether or not you're a similar calibre.
Though I stand by it's a stupidly shit way of doing it, even if you're wary of dating again.
People move on too soon. They’re still hung up on the ex and hoping that the next potential mate will distract them from it. It never works. Instead they chase away what could have been the love of their life. Because they’re afraid to grieve meaningfully, heal and move on when they feel whole without that person in their life.
Because he/she still hasn't gotten over the ex and jump in too soon in the dating game.

They’re not over it
Why are you speaking for everyone? Apparently, she didn't like you.
Hey, it's not my fault she didn't like you lol 🤷🏼♀️
