What are the chances of meeting someone at the same place again?

It sounds really silly, it could be just my brain overthinking but last Sunday when I was refueling my car and then went to pay for it, there was a guy, a policeman, who just "clicked for me" as in he made a hole into my head as he stared at me.

He seemed nervous, kept looking my way and it felt like there was something more lol

Is that possible? To meet someone special like this? I have really felt like there was a connection of some sort right away without speaking (just looking) and I can't get him out of my head.

Are there any chances of meeting him again at the same/similar time and place?

Is it a coincidence? Is it fate?

I would have never expected a guy like him to be there at that moment, yet there he was.

How to see him again? How to make the possibility of seeing him again get higher?

Would it be strange to ask about the guy at the gas station? Just if they remember him and if he and/or other cops visit regularly?

On average, it's a fairly high probability. Humans are creatures of habit. We leave for work or school st the same time, take the same route, shop the same stores, buy the same groceries.

The chances are quite high, even in large cities. Of course you don't notice most repeat encounters because there was nothing striking about the person the first time you saw them.

Not likely at all. We have to act when circumstances arise.

We just stared at each other and I always realize these things when it's too late, after hours/days even. :(

Likely. The vast majority of people follow routines. They go to mostly the same places at roughly the same time with a few other places thrown in on rotation. Maybe they go there once a week, maybe once a month. Or maybe that was their first time there to try it out and they won't be incorporating it into their routine. The former is more likely true. Most people don't adventure often.

As for it being fate or something, no. You just thought they were attractive and you're subconsciously attracted to the job. Probably could have been any attractive man in a uniform.

If you return there frequently at roughly the same time of day, you'll probably see him again before long. Though learning someone's routine and then hanging out at those places for them is technically stalking. So, y'know... Consider that.

Slim to impossible so many factors go into it happening again it pretty much won't happen unless it's a place he frequents more then regularly

It's a small town and I visit it almost regularly, and he's a cop. Are there still no real possibilities of meeting him again?
Thankfully, the gas station is the cheapest there so I'll be paying it more visits.
And if I'd see him again, I'd take my chance and approach him.

Yea because that requires u to go not only the same day he needs gas but the same time

See, you can't have that attitude, and you have no idea how things could have turned out with that guy.
