Girls, Is it best for a guy to never mention sex before meeting up if you matched on a dating app?

As I’ve gotten older I’ve gotten much more careful at mentioning sex to a girl on a dating app. It’s can be entertaining conversation. But even if she responds positively I find it lowers the chance of meeting up. There are a few rare situations when a girl wants a quick fling. But unless she thinks I am an 8 or higher that’s unlikely nowadays.

Anyway I am not “all about sex”. I do not mind chatting someone up. But sex is part of it. No man is going to be on a dating app looking for a platonic relationship.

If said guy is only on the app for hooking up, then he should definitely make that clear instead of leading me on with the hope of a relationship. If he’s on the app for a relationship or dating, then sex shouldn’t be the first thing mentioned. It should be mentioned after getting to know each other properly.
