How long does attraction last?

If your attracted to someone new and u don't see each other enough

Can it go away quickly for that person or move on or not go away

a lifetime or 5 minutes. it's emotional...

I still love my 5th grade teacher... and I didn't know her other than my fantasy mind, but the way she carried herself was endearing to me. she's like 80yrs old now but 30 in my minds eye. Why would it change... I never got to know her in reality... her flaws. I saw her though the eyes of a child. And when I saw she was married to a shorter dorky guy... that was my inspiration!

so I married a 1st grade teacher!:) Not "my" first grade teacher.

I've seen women I have "feelings for", and then get to know them, and ka poof... that be misery. love is projection... from within until you get to know someone... and then..."you choose to love that person and grow in love". It's fickle... you gotta choose.

I love my wife for so many reasons, in short. She's fun, witty, free flowing, complements my weaknesses so well, makes dinner and traveling enjoyable... the table has no salt and pepper when she's there... it's not as enjoyable. If you knew her you'd know what I mean. She's the spice girl Im lucky to have found. Is she perfect? she's imperfectly perfect.

I love Christ... although I screw him over all the time and that... needs work. I apologize to Him for that. I have extra love to give and share and work on growing that.

Attraction... is sub conscious... check the sources you are drawing from for what you really love!

It really depends on the person. Even just for me. I have had attraction last years and sometimes only a few minutes

I was in a long distance relationship once, where he told me that I wasn't affectionate enough. So I tried the full-on exotic lovefest when he returned once, and then he said it was to much. We didn't work out.

But anyway, it all depends on the relationship. Lots of long distance relationships work, and there are those that don't.

Can go away quickly if I see a man once & never see him again. But a man I find attractive that I haven’t spoke to, but I’ve seen several times and know I will talk to him eventually. that never goes away until they do something that turns me off.
