Does playful teasing mean anything from a guy?

My manager keeps teasing me in a playful yet respectful manner from time to time. Just yesterday he sent me for a market survey and I had a minor car accident (I wasn't driving) to which he jokingly said to everyone that I caused the accident. I've noticed that when he says anything like such he would always look for my reaction and try to build eye contact with me. Apart from all this he shows that he cares about me by texting and asking me if I got home ok and how I'm feeling when I'm sick, also lessens my work burden. When I asked him if I could work on a project that I liked, he smiled and told me I could work on anything I wanted. Is there some sort of admiration that's there or is it all normal?

That's not playful teasing, subtle, clever, respectful, or anything but the obvious. He wants to fuck you, and you use it to your advantage. Your co-workers notice. You notice; you said it yourself. This question is you fishing for justification. You know what it is. If you're involved with someone it's a form of cheating too.

If you don't mind the gossip and like the flirting for it and/or its benefits, then have fun and own it.

It means he’s interested in you. Whether as in a relationship or just for sex can’t say on that one. Men rough house or joke, tease women we like. For instance, men show other men emotions by fucking w them. At least when I was in the service. We never said I love you bro. We said it by giving each other shit or rough housing. Maybe talking shit to him about some big chick he nailed.
