I like a guy at job but I don’t want him be my boyfriend, I want him be my cute work friend. I have no friends and I now have been tired of being lonley at work. I see all girls at job have a guy buddy they talk to daily and walk together during breaks lunch and throughout the whole shift. The guy is serious and quiet. I’ve been put to work in behind him the past 3 days. I feel silly as obvisouly nothing will happen between us. But I just wish he can himself come up to me and try be my friend but that won’t happen. He might not even stick around for long at job too. It just bothers me as I want this fantasy come true and it won’t. I guess I’m lonley so I’m desiring companionship n a new guy friend in my life I have no friends besides boyfriend. Only when I was little I had a lot of boys making jokes trying to be my friend but now that no longer happens.

As far as you wanting to be friends with your crush: It's normal if you want to be like most people but most people are more likely to have broken relationships also. I never wanted to be like most people or "normal" in today's world where most are in a long line of broken relationships.

That said, maybe your boyfriend isn't good enough to marry but that's another topic.

Oh, it's not about me being frustrated. It's about how she can decide at any point to tell HR you're harassing her and you'll be punished no mater that it's false. I've seen cases where a guy didn't touch her and got in trouble. And cases where she was willing, they had a thing for weeks & then she changed her mind. And I don't need my wife to get jealous over meaningless stuff. Or give ego strokes to a woman I'm not married to. Let her boyfriend/husband stroke her ego.

@slatyb "that could happen even if I never spoke with her", sure but it's more likely to happen when you interact because then she can find a personal reason to be pissed at you. I even got into major trouble for rejecting a married woman coming onto me once. I was dumb enough to tell her, "I don't get with married women." That triggered her. I should have said, "You look so sexy... but my girlfriend wouldn't like it." Even tho I didn't have a girlfriend at the time.

It's not normal at all but there is nothing wrong with it. Maybe it's good he doesn't come up to you cause things can escalate really fast
