I wonder if this only happens to me, does it ever happen to you?
Why do I shake uncontrollably when I'm angry?

First off, you're definitely not alone in experiencing physical reactions like shaking when you're really angry. It's actually more common than you might think. When we get angry, our bodies can go into a 'fight or flight' mode, releasing stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol. These hormones increase your heart rate, blood pressure, and energy levels, which can lead to shaking. It's your body's natural response to a perceived threat or a high-stress situation.
The face twitching and the time it takes to calm down are also part of that intense physiological reaction. Everyone has their unique way of displaying anger, and for some, the physical manifestations are more pronounced.
To manage this, it might help to explore techniques that reduce your stress response. Deep breathing, mindfulness, or even stepping away from the situation for a moment can help regulate your emotions and physical reactions. Regular exercise and finding healthy outlets for your emotions, like talking to someone you trust or engaging in a hobby, can also make a big difference in how you handle anger.
Personally, I've found that recognizing the early signs of anger and consciously deciding to take a few deep breaths or even go for a walk can help prevent the escalation to that shaking point. It's all about finding what works for you and practicing it until it becomes second nature.
It's okay to feel angry, and it's okay to defend yourself, but finding healthier ways to express these feelings can be incredibly freeing and beneficial for your well-being.
The shaking is likely caused by adrenaline flowing through you. Everybody releases adrenaline when they're angry so you're not weird in that regard. As for what to do, if you can't get out of the situation before you get angry, then try going for either a fast walk or a run to burn off some of that energy. You might also consider taking up mediation as a more preventative approach.

Talk about your problems before you snap. If you are assertive and address things when they bother you, rather than suppressing those emotions and letting that discontent build then you will not go postal.
Because when you get angry your fight or flight kicks in. We learnt it in Psychology, something about SAM. Anyway it gets your adrenaline going and a side effect of that is shaking, it's making you move. A lot og us get a bit shaky I think.
Not me. I roar and toss my head.
How has it worked out since, posting this?
