How do you tell banter apart from flirting? If it involves a lot of physical touch, does that automatically make it flirting?

Touching is way donwstream from banter. It's easy to tell the difference between them.

I think guys don't normally touch girls they aren't into.

Girls... I mean we might jokingly slap someone's shoulder if we see them as a friend right? But probably only stroke their arm or put our hand on theirs if we're into them...

Some people are naturally touchy feely with everyone I guess but in my opinion if he's making a point of touching you, he's into you.
