I assume you're talking about someone you met online and are finally meeting in person. Yes, it would be.
I actually had an experience like that on a first date, but I was the one who was off. My gut was really bugging me that night so I was uncomfortable and distracted. She seemed a little hurt by my seeming lack of interest. I wish I had called her after, explained I wasn't feeling good, and asked to meet again and start over. But I didn't.
I think she also felt a little awkward dating because she was a divorce lawyer.

No, i mean we can only see each other once a week due to school, and i wasn't in a good mood, but tried to smile at him and be nice, but the vibe wasn't the same. I wasn't joking around like i usually do
Oh, so you see each other regularly. In that case no, not as long as she is back to normal the next time. You may be overthinking it.
I remember when my niece was in middle school and she came home crying one day because she said hi to a boy she liked and he didn't respond. I'm afraid I wasn't very sympathetic because I laughed and said well maybe his parents had a fight last night or he just bombed a test or didn't sleep well or any number of things that have nothing to do with you. Or was thinking of something intently and didn't notice you.
