How to stop acting nervous in front of the guy I like?

I always get so nervous and then I dont talk to him at all. But I end up thinking about it later

Girl I totally feel you! It's so hard not to act all awkward and shy around someone you really like. But it's normal so don't sweat it.

First of all, realize that even the coolest guys get nervous around a girl sometimes too. We're all human! Try to remember he probably likes you back on some level or else he wouldn't bother talking to you.

Second, practice some deep breaths before you see him. In through your nose, out through your mouth. It'll help calm your nerves so you can act more chill. Having a friendly face nearby for a confidence boost at first could help too until you warm up.

Third, start conversations about easy subjects you like - school, music, movies, whatever. Talking about shared interests is way less intimidating than overthinking small talk. Ask him questions so you have to listen instead of just freak out in your head.

And remember: who cares if you mess up a little or feel awkward for a sec? Being yourself is way more attractive than acting "cool." Own your quirkiness - he'll think it's cute! Once you relax, you'll see there's nothing to be worried about. You've totally got this, girl!
