APPARENTLY some guys will just flirt with anything that moves, so all women are fair game... Older/younger, friends/romantic interests/colleagues, etc. You name it, they'll hit it.

But of course not all guys are like that. I have many guy friends and we have firm distinctions between "friend" and guys I would date or girls they would date. There have been one or two passing awkward moments but I know my guy friends well and we've been able to laugh those off bc we both know we're NOT one another's types.

Depends what you consider "flirting". I don't "flirt" per se. But I will ridicule a woman who flirts with me. And they generally think I'm flirting. And I don't really discriminate. I'll ridicule anyone. Tall, short, thin, fat. I don't know if that answers your question.

Flirting with some friends is fun as they're married like me and kids etc. and it is all in fun which STILL has a positive effect on those impacted. BUT it should never become serious as those kinds of things can only end in pain and heartache.

Some men are more flirty then others. Number one some people come off as flirty who are not meaning to and have no romantic/sexual intentions behind it. Some men do it to feed their egos by getting women to flirt back with them.

Also some men may not be as flirty some are more shy or nervous while others maybe you’re someone whose a risky move.

Whatever the situation may be it’s best for you to put yourself out there when you like someone. Don’t waste your time because attraction can come and go you don’t want to be sitting there wondering why he seemed into you but all the sudden he has a girlfriend now.

As scary as rejection is you’ll have closure as well as not be wasting your time on someone anymore. If someone’s not meant to be which is another reason people get nervous the fact that you don’t get too attached and build this fantasy in your head of someone just to meet them and be like…. Ehhh…

Depends on what you consider flirting. If a dude is just being genuinely kind, it's what it is. If he is straight up just trying to make her laugh, throwing out compliments, and maybe a puckupline or 2 then its flirting. Also the kind of eye contact and body language will tell the difference.
