Do eye doctors tell you that you have large eyes, have freckles and pat on your shoulder for no reason?

I have never been to NHS before. Yesterday, I got my eye test done and the doctor said that I have large eyes, freckles (not in eyes but face) and pat on shoulder? Was that doctor low key flirting? or being nice

I wouldn't jump to conclusions too fast. He might have just tried being nice and it came across the wrong way.

Well, noticing your eyes makes sense. Noticing freckles seems strange, if he is not the dermatologist. Patting you on the shoulder seems like he is trying to put you at ease.
