Is it more OK, common these days with age gaps?

When I was young in my late teens. 20s it happened that older guys that were close to my dads age would flirt with me (which I found odd and not into). Now in my 40s it has happened that guys that could be close in age if I had a son does the same (flirt), I can't imagine they mistake me for someone from their own generation. I'm talking about RL meetings now, not on Internet. My question is has there been a change that in this modern time it is today more OK, common for guys to hit on older women than it has been before? (For me I never been into age gaps like that, how other people function with it is up to them, not saying it's right or wrong).

Why do so many people make questions about age gaps? If two people are adults and mature enough to be together, then they should just be together.

I agree with you, there is nothing wrong with it, that is not what I'm getting at, I wonder if it is more mainstream, common these days than it used tp be. My own notion is that it was more OK before with older guy younger woman, then older woman younger guy, but I could be wrong why I ask

I don't get to see it enough to notice anything. All the married women I knew, were married to older men.

Yeah I ger it. When younger I was in surroundings where I could see it was happening with older huys and younger women but never the other way around. Then again mt surrounding was limited so interested in knowing how others are perceiving it

I have no problem with younger guys hitting on older women. I know one whom I'm quite attracted to and would like to be with (she's got 20 years on me and that's fine with me).
