They all claim to want connection, good conversation, a smart and social man. So you know I like to go into detail when texting. Elaborate a little bit. Show some signs of personality, even through text form.

But these girls? They leave you with like 1-3 word responses and that’s it. How are you going to respond to a guy, that that you must find attractive if you’re texting him, leave him with so little to keep a conversation going, and expect that things are just going to progress naturally?

All that back and forth texting, just plan a date so you can ask all those questions in person. Some people aren’t big on that, when I started dating my fiancé the most we’d do texting was check in during the day while at work and then make plans to hang out later. That’s the whole point, to get those conversations off the phone and transition to in person.

It depends on how busy I am. Sometimes I just have quick replies. Happened when I started dating current boyfriend. Other times, we could have more in depth conversations.
