The title happened last night. I was at my friend's sister's wedding and this one friend of hers who I haven't seen in years and even lives in a different state (not that far) and honestly didn't know was still friends with her was also attending. I remembered who she was even though I never knew her that well, and she remembered who I was too, even with me having a goatee now. She was really happy to see me, was kinda surprised I remembered her, asked for a hug, and we chatted a little bit, and later on she randomly gave me some Magic The Gathering card. I don't know a single thing about that game, but it sounds like fun. From what I do know about her, she's friends with my friend's sister, has known her for years, she lives in a neighboring state, and she has 2 kids. I have no idea if she's single. I added her on Facebook after, but her profile doesn't mention her relationship status. I didn't look for any rings on her hand, but I don't think she had a plus 1 at the wedding.
I'm not sure if this really means anything. I've had times where I chatted with women before, we hit it off, had lots to talk about, but didn't want to date me. I had another one who I worked in the same store (not same department) that we talked about some things and she enjoyed some posts I put on Facebook, but she ended up not being interested, although that one probably wouldn't have worked out anyway; I don't think we had a lot in common. Her living in another state and even having kids itself wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me. Hell, my grandma lived in Germany and had 2 kids when she met my grandpa who lived in the United States. I think it's worth it for the right person. What do you think? Am I thinking about this too much? Was she just being friendly?

I always say that even if you don’t know how the person’s feeling, you know how you feel, so act on that. All we can really do here is either give you some positive reinforcement, or kill your confidence, since none of us can speak for her. I think it’s just better to act on your own lived experience — how the vibes were, how you felt and what you got from her.
She's definitely interested. Are you?
This is all I know about this situation. Like I said before, I really have no idea if she's with anyone. I guess I'd be open to it

Thanks for the response. Was thinking about messaging her and saying it was good to see her again.
