Girl who rejected me came back, what would you do in this situation?

Well, about 2 months ago, I met this girl and we instantly connected. I really learned a lot about her, that she makes music, that she wants it to be her career, that she likes this video game I love. But after about 3 weeks I asked her if she wanted to go see a movie with me. She said yes and we went on the date. It was fun and all but her body language (Legs crossed, arms crossed) was telling me something was wrong. So I held my hand out she smiled and she held it. But after it, we were talking about her music and I asked her "Do you wanna go out, like as boyfriend and girlfriend?". She then told me that she liked this other guy for 2 years, but that she liked me almost as much. She then sent me these text for like 2 days like "Dont worry about being in a relationship! Be confident!" then on Monday when I got back to school she told me no. Her friends began ignoring me and so did she. But about a month after that, she began pursuing the guy she liked for 2 years, but he didn't like her back.. So she tried talking to me but I ignored her like an idiot because I was trying to get over being rejected. Now her friends are always looking at me like they did when I first met them. what do I do!? I deleted her number too in attempt to get over her too. I wave to her and stuff now and I don't want to lose her. she's one of the most unique people that I've ever met.

I personally would never forget the initial rejection. To me, that says it all. So her coming back, it would just feel like she's settling for me or something, even if that wasn't the case. I'd just feel like "I wasn't good enough the first time, why now?" Yes she liked someone else, but I'd still feel I was her second choice or best option.

However, if you feel differently, just contact her and explain your reasons why you ignored her. She'll understand. Let her know you still like her.

She has already proven that you are not her best option. You should be with a woman who puts you at the top, not a woman who treats you as a backup option. the only reason why she's talking to you now is because the guy who she WAS more interested in didn't return her feelings, and now she's crawling back to you. Don't fall for it. Move on and find a woman who will treat you like her best option.

I personally would tell her the honest truth and tell her that you want to still be friends with her but you can't date her because of how she treated you unfortunately girls that age don't understand that when they do something to a guy there are consequences. They read way to many magazines about relationships and don't have enough experience to pull one off.But just tell her the truth and remember everybody is unique in their own way. and keep in mind that if she did that to you now think about if you dated her what she would do to you then.

I think you should just approach her and talk to her because she might be reluctant to talk to you since you ignored her. So make the move and talk to her about how you feel and if you can have another chance. Maybe something that goes along the lines of:

"Hey (her name), was just wondering if you would like to hang out sometime? I know I have been acting strange for sometime so I'm really sorry about that and I'll understand if you say no."
