What does it mean when a girl keeps making fun of me?

I never had this happen to me. I'm a confident guy who is, at least to my perception, liked and respected by others. There's this girl who isn't really my friend but she keeps making fun of me ALL the time, she is sarcastic, feisty, bossy and teases me a lot. She makes fun of my voice, mocks it and seldom says anything nice about me, calls me big head, annoying, conceited etc. Its fun because I can take it and I shoot it back at her and she seems to enjoy it but what I want to know is WHY she seems to do it. She never makes fun of anybody else, just me. If I make fun of other people, she tells me to be quiet if I have nothing nice to say and when I tell her she is always making fun of me, she tells me its because I deserve it, any help here?

I think you know.. deep down inside..why she does what she does. She likes you. I'm willing to bet my life savings ($2) that she does because I'm kinda like her. I only make fun of people I really like, especially if I know they can take it and dish it out. Keep up to verbal sparring that you guys have and then when you feel it's right, ask her out. I think she will be delighted.

I would say yes... if she teases you about your physical appearance (in a cute way), or teases you about how she would NEVER be in a relationship with you, or teases about you and other girls (in a not really happy way), or if she teases you and get touchy... brother you're in business!

She usually teases me about how I'm terrible at whatever I'm doing at the time or how no girl will ever like me (in a playful way obviously) and usually I respond by making her laugh and sometimes blush.

I think some girls have this weird misconception that if she teases the hell out of a guy than he'll instantly like her. It's not a sin to actually laugh at a guy's joke now and again. She could be one of those types where that's the only way she knows how to flirt. It's hard to tell. I've met girls like that and they just strike me as rude so I never give them the time of day.

Yeah, I've met those kind of girl and they are just speople you want to spend time with. Like I said, we do get along and we have fun but its when we are just chilling and having a nice time that we'll start arguing with each other. I admit I like it and I do it to her and she tels me I'm annoying her but she responds "well" and keeps the conversation going. I've seen her interaction with others and she is "nice" to them and when I ask what's the difference, she tells me to get over it, confusing

She probably likes you. No matter what anyone says, just because someone does this doesn't mean its a definite.

Either way, she sounds annoying as fuck and I would've shut that down whem I met her. Lol I have before.

But if you can take it and she's pretty and you'd like to get to know her, just ask her out.

If a girl laughs with you, it means she's attracted to you, if she makes fun of you it means either the attraction is superficial or she doesn't respect you that much...

But sometimes superficial attraction is more powerful than regular attraction that is based on their desire for your character.

Yeah, I get that. The thing is that she isn't really the kind of person to be "mean" at people, she is usually very nice. SHe jokes with people, yes, but she lets them know she is just playing and when she talks to them it feels different. Its like there's this tension between us, we like talking to each other because we spend hours talking but sometimes it feels like she tries way too hard to seem like she dislikes me, if that makes sense.

some girls try to show they are "tough strong" by calling you names but that showed they are comfortable around you so if you respond smile and they smile back then it was a show. if they look annoyed then they did it kuz wanted you to break up. so repeat their complaint and say we are not working, we should seee other people.

Sounds like one of those people with a lot of problems in their life who needs to take it out on someone else. Stay away from her, I'd say. Even if she's doing all this cause she likes you, stay away, cause you don't want someone who's like this before even being in a relationship... it probably wouldn't get any better even if she opened up to you.

Depends on what she's poking fun at and who she's doing it to. If its you she's poking fun at does she make tiny useless jokes just for fun if so she might be flirting and likes you. if they're little hurtful jokes tht take a piece if your pride she wants to be one of the guys.
