so I hung out with a guy after he got off work at 10. and we went to the park had an awesome time it was all smiles and jokes since it was freezing I stood up and he came up behind me and put his arms around me then we went to his car and just cuddled in the back &&he kept telling me how cute he thinks I am and nice & ive known him for 11 years we went to school together but we never really talked or hung out until this past week.&& anyway. he's really strong and just lifted me and put me on his lap and tried to kiss me but I turned my head away. and he's like rejected. and I told him maybe a little so as I was leaving he gave me a big hug and tried giving me another kiss but I didn't give him one. although I am interested in him I don't kiss on the first date. so then after he texted me that night and told me goodnight :) and now its been 2 days and I Haven't heard from him -____-

I went through the same experience. I don't wanna kiss the lips on the first date or second date, everytime he asked, I rejected him but in a gentle voice, like"thank you, I wanna keep it.." he made me feel he understood and respected.. And just in case, I sent him messages to let him know my no kissing policy, I also told him I was happy going out with him to reassure we were fine.. but after that day til now, already 8 days passed.. no facebook updates, no messages back, but I saw him active on the dating app... Well, I m just giving up on him, I like him, but I regard my pride as valuable thing in the world, so I ll definitely not contact him again, I decide to wait for 5 more days to see what happens, if I still get no text from him, I ll detele all him numbers and unmatch him on the app.. so that' s how I handle it.

I have to tell, if he is really into you, not your hot body, he'll respect every decision you ve made, wait your kiss until you say "yes". Depends on what you want, one night stand or serious relationship.. Texting him to say something vague and pointless like "goodnight" isn't gonna cut it. Most girls do that after they shoot guys down because they feel sorry for him. You need to call him or meet him in person and explain to him very clearly that you are interested but don't kiss right away. Rejecting his kiss sends a signal to him that you have no romantic interest so now you'll have to put in double the effort to correct that perception.
