What to do when his actions don't match his words?

He apologizes later...but its getting harder and harder to believe that he's sincere. I want to believe his words...but his actions hurt (some are big things and some are small things, but all the small things add up). I'm very forgiving...but I don't want to be a fool and set myself up to be taken for granted over and over again...but at the same time I don't want to jump to negative conclusions. He rarely expresses himself so its hard to know what he's thinking/feeling...but when he does, its very sweet. he has always said that he means what he says...but idk. actions speak louder than words, right? or are there exceptions to that?

"ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS" if he keeps continuing behaviors that he knows hurt you it means he doesn't care about you. This isn't rocket science. Dump his sorry behind and go find a guy who does care about you and respects you.

You did not say what he did to you. I think you should understand why he did it. Men arean't that complicated.

he explains later but sometimes it just seems like an excuse to placate me
