Okay well me and this girl have been going out for a while. Enough to know if something is wrong like if she's mad at me or something. and sometimes I ask if there's something wrong and she either won't tell me or give me that look like "you don't know what's wrong are you stupid?" kinda thing. I want to know if asking is a bad thing. I think I do a good job but I am trying to pay more attention to her emotions ans what makes her mad but sometimes I just have no idea lol.

Get used to it. You have run into girl-speak where we, as guys, have to able to read their minds.
You feel there's something wrong so you ask her. She says nothing so you let it go. WRONG!
She wants you to probe her to find out what's wrong (you already know there is). Keep talking to her and she will eventually open up and tell you. Now, be prepared, it may be something really wrong but more than likely it will probably be the fact that another girl in the office wore the same outfit as her today or some other stupid thing. However, whatever it is, act interested and concerned or stage 2 will be enacted on your ass. Stage 2 is when you get accused of not caring enough or loving her enough to find out what's wrong OR that you should know what's wrong if you cared for and loved her; thus, the mind-reading trait we are supposed to possess.
To summarize: if you ask if there's something wrong, then don't accept "nothing" as an answer or you will be the bad guy.
You should ask. It's not a bad thig. But if she tells you nothing and you aske 50 more times she is going to get annoyed. If she says nothing a few times but it still seems there is something wrong ask her a few hours later, usually by then she'll be ready to talk about it. Try to remember when she started to act like something was wrong too. Then maybe you can figure it out on your own if she won't tell you.
Yeah, just ask her and say sorry if you did something wrong but you would like her to tell u. But sometimes, you just have to pick up on things.
