Do girls feel inferior when a guy compliments another girls looks?

If you were with a guy friend and a good looking woman walked by and he complimented her on her looks with you around, would you feel inferior?

No...because I'm gorgeous! lol. I'm one of those weird girls who doesn't compare myself to every other girl every 5 seconds and doesn't try to outdo every girl. ;D Let's face it...girls are f***ing hot! I'm straight but I can't deny that. I know I'm good looking but I also know there are other good looking girls and more good looking girls around...big deal..*shrugs*. Girls are so pretty! And if you are my guy friend...why would I care? It isn't like we are together or anything. I talk about hot guys when my guy friends are around too...so what? Do you guys feel inferior about that?

No not if I didn't really like him or if it wasn't my boyfriend but even then I wouldn't feel inferior

If it was someone I liked I would think 'gee, how does he feel about my hair, smile, eyes' etc etc

If it was my boyfriend I would be slightly pissed :l and give dagger eyes ..most guys would be like 'what she's really pretty, I didn't want to just stare?'

Inferior?No...

If we are strictly platonic,I wouldn't care.If we are dating,I wouldn't care. HOWEVER,negative feelings would depend on how and why he is saying what he is saying.Personally,I don't allow myself to feel inferior to anyone.Beauty is subjective.And with that in mind,there is no need to feel inferior.If he is gawking and foaming at the mouth over another girl...THEN there is going to be problems.

I rather him keep those comments to himself because I don't care. Its like telling me about a show I don't watch like I'm interested. I don't watch women therefore I don't care what you think of her or how she looks. Now if a guy friend asked me about a girl off observation I would look then or try to see but no not inferior. I wouldn't feel anything by those comments but confused as to why they even mentioned it.

because he's just looking at her like she was an object. she's a living thing with feelings and a personality. I never find a guy attractive unless I know his personality. I never judge anyone on the way they look. I see people as people as they should be seen. not as pieces of meat to ogle at. it's rude and demeaning. even if it's seen as a 'compliment'. therefore, he's shallow. but, no worries, loads of people on this planet are so it's no big deal by today's standards.

i'd go with the social convention of accepting the compliment, but I wouldn't care for that kind of compliment. I don't care what others think of me as long as I love myself and who I am, that's all the ego boosting I need, it's all anyone should ever need. what I'm trying to get at is, love yourself, don't base your life around the approval of what people think on the level of physical attraction you may or may not have. there would be a lot less drama and hate in this world if people did this.
