Is there a way to gracefully reject someone because they have children?

I will not date someone who has children.

Basically, it's going to complex things in many different ways. I'm young and I don't want to be expected to take on some form of a mother role with a child I did not even create. I'm not prepared for that. Heck, most young parents aren't even prepared for that!

How can I politely, gracefully reject someone with kids who is into me?

you don't make the kids the problem. like...you don't say "its because you have kids"

you focus it all on yourself. like..."i'm not prepared to handle kids and it would be unfair to you and your kids for me to get involved"

Come straight out and just state your case, I broke your rule about dating someone with kids, and have lived to regret it... You are very astute on this matter!

You don't have to mention the kids, just say you don't think you two are compatible or something along those lines.

well, here's he situation; we just started talking, he's pushing for us to hang out and date, but I've totally lost interest now that I know he has children
