How to seem more approachable in high school?

So I am in the 11th grade and I have never had a boyfriend, been on a date, or actually hung out with many guys. They tease me a lot, but its in a playful way, not mean, and it is a group of about 5 guys. I can go to prom this year, and I am nervous I won't get asked. I guess my question is GUYS- what do you find attractive in a girl?

Taller or Shorter

Small Chest or Big

Chubby cheeks or Slim face

Eye color

hair color

height?

And also, what do guys look for in girls; IE how do I make myself more approachable?

so I guess the one notable thing that I have done to make myself unapproachable would be that every time someone teases me I get really defensive... I've tried to stop, but they just expect it now and I am afriad that no one will give me the chance anymore

Learn to tease back. Most people that tease do so for playful reasons, not to be mean. If you can show that you can tease back, it shows you have a sense of humor. To those people who have already teased you, tease them back with a smile (very key to smile!) to show that you aren't thin-skinned.

I can't answer all your questions but one thing girls do that makes them approachable is SMILE.

smile at guys lot and look happy and friendly. I can't tell you that alone will get you a boyfriend but it does make you approachable.

make yourself more approachable by not talking to guys or girls, a guy will never approach a girl who has her self with people (guys or girls), so being alone will make guys want to approach you more, and who said that you can't go up to guys?

Guys generally don't like approaching in high school, just wait for college or do the approaching yourself
