Me and my girlfriend got in a fight, she stormed off and told me to leave so I actually did... is that bad?

Well, basically I was trying to contact her all day to see if she could swing by work so my coworker could meet her because we were going to an event together. She would periodically text me not really paying attention to me asking her to come over and just talking about things, and finally she told me she couldn't. She kept continually asking me to come over to her place, yet I was constantly telling her I was at work. She just didn't really pay attention to what I was saying.

So after work I head to her place, and I'm a little let down. My coworker asked his girlfriend to come and she came right over. Turns out my girlfriend was just too tired so she told me she couldn't, and didn't really give me much of an excuse as to why she didn't text me saying she was watching the debate. I calmly told her I was bothered by it, to which she started yelling and told me to leave and slammed the door and got in the shower.

I sat there for minutes, wondering what to do. I tried to talk to her calmly, and it just didn't work out and she yelled at me. So, for once, I decided not to stay and apologize and calm her down. I actually walked up and left.

I feel horrible.

Thanks guys. The second she got out of the shower, she sent me a bunch of texts messages explaining how mad she was at me for leaving and she was just extremely tired today and really mad and upset about me just leaving. I hopped in the car, bought a shake, and went to her place and merely told her I went to get a shake while she cooled down and she immediately felt bad and apologized for the angry texts and we were able to sit down, talk, and compromise.
