When a shy girl says "I'm busy"

ok we're both teens, and she's shy.. I think

ive made little moves like holding her hand and stuff which she has responded well to..

and today I asked her out, she was like "yeah sure! ill txt you", like an hour later she texts saying "hey, its me, I'm busy tomorrow, sorry".

what does this mean. I was so sure about this girl, she would always blush when I talked to her, and the signs were good. recently she's been more comfortable around me but mostly bcos I've been talking to her more recently.

she hasn't really dated anyone before. is she really actually busy?

i just don't know what she could be busy with though.. surely she would have explained what she meant by "busy". it's the holidays, and surely she would have said "how about another time?" instead of just "im busy, sorry".

haha I think that you like her so much that you are reading WAY to much into this. Like what if you happen to be busy the day that you we suppose to go out with her and these were plans that you couldn't cancel lol like you would tell her the same thing "that something came up and you can't make it any more." No worries she may be nervous about it but don't let this discourge you I mean keep going the way that you are going with her because it seems liek things are working... maybe like go out with a group of friends to make her more comfortable and see where things go from there.

It's just the way she said "im busy tomorrow, sorry". she wasn't blushing like she used to 2day either. I feel like she's lost interest. we're on holiday atm in the uk, she knows she can just say "how about the next day?" or something.

I don't know then... I really think you should like try again though if you really lie her. I mean if you feel like you have been shut down the first time you might as well try once more... what can it hurt right?

i would say that she is actually busy and really likes you.. she wouldn't have said yes if she didn't like you.. the signs are there, I am sure something just came up.. however if she makes a habit of saying she is busy then I'd look twice into it

It means she's busy. If you doubt her already you are going to push her away. Just chill out and wait for another day.
