My coworker holds my hand, gives me shoulder rubs and puts his arm around my waist. Is this being friendly?

Like said above, I work with this guy for about a year now, on occasion he will take my hand and hold it, come up and give me a shoulder rub, or sometimes puts his arm around my waist. Even a couple of times he's swatted my butt.

Is this just friendly banter or otherwise? thanks.
