Girls asking a guy's salary on their first date? Laughable!

Seriously wtf. The traditional good wife is dead, they stopped making those angels.

Anyway, I my friend introduced me to his new girlfriend. We got along, ect... then she asked me "So how much do you make? my boyfriend told me you used to make 2000 a week, now half of what you used to make?"

I didn't even answer her. I asked her when did your boyfriend tell you, and she said "oh in our first date"

and I was like wow..dude.

The thing that really sickens me about these types of women is that they belittle the hardworking people by claiming such guys who don't make much money are not successful, even when they are working their ass off to pay their bills. Chances are these women don't even come close to what they are looking for. It's a known fact that women are looking beyond what they really deserve. Their expectations are unrealistic and the women themselves need to look in the mirror and realize their looks alone do not somehow make them more valuable.

Plus they're "values" are based on materialistic things like income levels, property ownership, career status, and so on. These things somehow got stapled into girls' "look for" lists. Look how many girls look for a guy with a house and try to sneak their belongings in slowly as a petty attempt to move in. Or they get excited at a guy mentioning he owns a house and the guy asks why and she doesn't know what to say. A guy can work 50 hours a week and only make 30K a year because of the economy and the girl can tell him how he should be more successful and lecture him when she only works a part time job bartending. Yet a guy who barely works at all and managed to get himself a 70k salary is "so successful" even though he barely works at all because of his position and the woman will be all over him.

I guess you met an American. When I meet one, he /she  wants to tell at once what his income and assets are (and expects you to do the same). In other countries people are more discrete about that. In some countries this discretion borders on paranoia.

I have know idea why anyone would ask someone how much they make,

let alone how much there friend makes lol. But, it's one of those things about

women (or people) that I will never understand. But, I think it's weirder that when she

meets you (her boyfriends,friend) for the first time. The first question that pops in

her head is "how much money do you make now?". I guess taking your friends

money wouldn't be enough, she wants to take yours too! :P I'm just kidding. Seriously

though, tell your friend to watch out for that one, she could be trouble.

Wait wtf, why is your "friend" telling his girl about your financial circumstances anyway. That's beyond weird. What, did the conversation really go that bad, to where you and your monthly paychecks had to be apart of the conversation. It's none of her business... She's just a typical materialistic gold digging bitch who doesn't deserve a good man. I wish more women would judge men on the quality of their character rather than the size of their bank account. Women like that make us all look bad T_T

Also, why is he telling her how much you make and probably how much his other friends make? That's not right.

This is the bitter truth. The fact is, men date women based on looks alone, and women do it based on looks AND money. And I guess for most women, the man's wealth or income is of a slightly higher priority than his looks. For people who're saying women give importance to 'penis size'..this is only true for women who are only looking for short term swings or one night stands. For those women looking for long term relationships which might eventually lead to marriage, then money and looks are the only two things they consider. It doesn't even matter to them if that man is an alcoholic, drug addict, rapist or murderer. If he just has good looks and a fat wallet, he is set for a life filled with women.

Next time ask her so how big are your breasts? Or ask how much she makes if she works? I'll agree it is rude to ask someone how much they make. I live off a SSI (Social Security Income) so when someone ask me what I make I just tell them I'm on a SSI income. I would rather be asked how much I make than something like my penis size lol.
